This artwork is an AI expansion of an original handmade work. The artist started with a digital image of one of her acrylic painting artworks and used OpenAI’s DALL·E 2 to create an expanded artwork three times larger. The work was then finished by painting over the DALL·E 2 composition. The piece contains William Morris Prints, pictures of cellular biology, and MATLAB images.

Francesca Acacia is a New York-based psychedelic artist. Francesca has a Masters in Philosophy from Columbia University and is interested in the role of artists in creating culture. Francesca works in clean energy and climate communications and uses her art to teach people about the relationship between energy and global warming.
