Andre Loose - New York
Perception is a site-specific spatial display. The installation is meant to engage all aspects of visual perception, creating optical illusions and real-time mapped immersive patterns.
Andre grew up in Berlin, spent time in Rio de Janeiro, and now lives in New York. He's a recovering physicist and built all kinds of experimental setups for academia, like a single atom detection system for an experiment that searches for dark matter. Now working in machine learning/AI, he creates large-scale installations that play with your sense of perception.
