Eclipsed Luminosity is the next step in the artist's journey with geometric LED shapes. it is a small stellated dodecahedron, out of lights and aluminum. while only ¼ of the piece was assembled here, when built fully it creates a mesmasing changing geometric view, where every visit takes the spectator on a different journey. It is meant to bring joy and spark excitement and whimsy as you take in the size, shape and movement.
Uriel Guy is an Israeli artist based in New York. His work is focused on lights at varying scale - from tiny wearables to 50ft long mutant vehicles. His passion is combining art and technology, bringing light, movement and interactivity to public spaces. he has presented his art in NYC galleries, and built multiple pieces for Burning Man, most notably the LED Zeppelin art car.
