Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with powdered gold or other precious metals. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.

With a background in Neuroscience and AI, Julia has received awards in her native Germany for photography. Her explorations in AI-enabled art is informed by her profound optimism in and around humanity.  Her work showcases that intrinsic beauty - the beauty within us all.
